Our first project
The Ivybridge Food Bank
Once a week we post the food bank's most needed items into the Stowford WhatsApp group. We check our cupboards and see if we can help. Someone heads down to the food bank with the collection on Wednesdays.
It costs nothing but a few minutes and a look in a cupboard, and it goes straight into the town we live in. If you would like to be the person who takes it down one week, tell the committee.
This is the first of several projects we plan to engage with locally.

Suggest something
What should we do next?
We have said we will take on several local projects, and we have done one. The next one is genuinely open. If there is something in Ivybridge you think a few dozen neighbours could usefully help with, bring it to a meeting or email the committee.
Getting together
Groups and social events
Residents run these between them, and anyone on the estate is welcome. Socials and get-togethers are announced in the Stowford WhatsApp group and posted here once there is a date.
